Bases for Advertising Flags

At Express Displays we have a range of flag bases to give you the flexibility that you need when advertising both indoors and outdoors.

Flag base guide

Once you’ve chosen the size and shape of flag that suits you, the next step is to work out the correct base to use, the base type will be dictated by the height of your flag, where you are going to use it and weather conditions.

Ground spike

If you are intending to use the flag on grass, soil or sand then our ground spike is the perfect option. With a spiked head the ground spike can be easily pushed into firm ground, we would recommend a rubber mallet if the ground is extremely hard.

Drive-on foot

This option does exactly what it say in the tin, just drive a car onto the foot to secure the flag in place. Often used on car sales forecourts, car promotions and competitions.

Cross base (indoors)

Our cross base is perfect if you intend to use your flag on hard flooring indoors.

Cross base and weighting ring (outdoors)

If you are looking to use your flag on hard/flat ground outside then our cross base and weighing ring combo is the best solution. The weighting ring can be filled with water to ensure that the flag can cope with the elements. The cross base and weighting ring (when empty) is a lightweight option so should be considered if you are transporting /carrying your flag around frequently.

400mm square base

This 400mm square steel base is a heavy weight and suitable for use outside on hard/flat ground. This is best if your flag is generally used in a single location.
